Our Calcutta tournament will be held the weekend of March 15th and 16th. The purpose of this tournament is to fundraise for projects around the club. With the formulation of our capital projects committee, we have identified certain projects that we intend to pursue around the facility. With these new initiatives/committees in place, we believe it is important to understand the intention of the tournament itself, enhancing the club.
To continue with our increased participation from last year, the field will be broken down into two separate (level based) Men’s doubles and Women’s doubles groups as opposed to Mixed. As it pertains to the auction, as mentioned above, the goal of the tournament is that of a fundraiser for the improvement for the club. The tournament is all meant in good fun and participants should not feel the “pressure” of the auction component. We hope you plan to participate in this year’s Calcutta tournament and look forward to another successful year.
