Tailgator Tennis Tournament

 

Tennis, tailgating, and top-tier competition are set to return to Southwest Louisiana this fall as the Lake Charles Racquet Club hosts its popular Tailgator Tournament from October 17–19, 2025.

The three-day event will take place at the club’s facility at 870 Bayou Pines Drive, attracting players and fans from across the region. Known for combining competitive tennis with a lively social atmosphere, the Tailgator Tournament has become a favorite fall tradition for both serious players and recreational enthusiasts.

The tournament features Men’s and Women’s Combo Divisions, including 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0 levels. Teams must include a minimum of six players, with registration now open to both members and non-members.

 

Entry Fees:

• $115 for club members

• $130 for non-members

• $85 for social tickets (non-players)

In addition to competitive match play, the tournament includes social events and food—true to the “tailgator” theme. Players and guests can expect a spirited atmosphere as the Lake Charles tennis community comes together for a weekend of fun and friendly rivalry.

Participants can register by submitting a completed team registration form and payment to the Lake Charles Racquet Club. Forms are available at the club or can be requested by email.
