It's that time of year, Fall, Football and Tennis! The Lake Charles Racquet Club is excited to bring back one of the most popular tennis tournaments in the Lake Area, the Tennis Tailgator!

We will host the tennis Tailgator Tournament October 6-8. This fun team event will consist of men and women doubles teams competing for the championship . In addition to a weekend of great tennis, players will be treated to delicious food while having the opportunity to watch their favorite college football team on one of the many TV screens on property. Get ready for a weekend of tennis, food and fun!

Don't play tennis but want to join in on the festivities? You can purchase a 'social ticket' for the weekend to have access to the food & beverages. Tournament Format:

Adult Team Tournament (minimum of 6 players per team)

Divisions: Men & Women Combo Doubles ( 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0)

- 8.0 teams are allowed to play line 1 as 8.5

( example: line 1 can consist of 4.5 and a 4.0 players or can consist of 5.0 and 3.5 players. Lines 2 and 3 players must add up to 8.0)

Tournament Play begins at 5:30 p.m.

Watch your favorite college team play on large screen TV's setup throughout the Lake Charles Racquet Club grounds.

Lunch: Tailgating will begin at 11:30 AM until everything is gone.
