LCRC Founded
A member-owned tennis and social club is established in Lake Charles, creating a place for families, tennis players, and community gatherings.
1980s–1990s
Tennis Traditions Grow
Leagues, junior tennis programs, and club tournaments become staples of the Racquet Club culture.
2005
Rebuild After Hurricane Rita
The club rebuilds and improves facilities after storm damage. Hosts an exhibition with the Bryan Brothers.
2020
Hurricane Laura Recovery & Updates
The Racquet Club once again rebuilds and updates facilities, continuing its tradition as a community gathering place.
Today
A Lake Charles Tradition
LCRC continues to serve generations of members through tennis, tournaments, social events, and family traditions.
HISTORY
The Lake Charles Racquet Club is a member owned private Club since 1973 and has a rich tradition built on families, fun, and hospitality. We offer the ideal environment for tennis, exercise, swimming, dining, socialization, and relaxation. Although we are firmly established as one of the area’s exclusive private clubs, our culture is warm, friendly, casual, and laidback.
